GREAT! This drone is how I ran across your channel for the first time back in the day. AWESOME! My wife got me one for Christmas back in 2016 or 2017, I think😂. Stayed in the box until the following spring until I started looking up videos on UA-cam of Bugs drones and I found you Jay Drone😅. Got my Bugs out, started flying it and was hooked. Got several drones since and the wife wishes she would have never got me the first one😂. You were the reason I got my Bugs 2W out of the box after watching your videos and realized it was definitely no toy! It is still one of my all time favorites. Thank you Jay Drone!!! Keep the oldies but goodies coming.

It was a shame the parrot drone disappeared of market the parat bebop was great drone I know it's of topic to tis drone ,it's just nostalgic seeing all these old makes

These were/are great little toys JD! They were also sold on Amazon under a lot of re-brand labels but I haven't seen them for a while. As you say, the best thing about them (for use out in the sticks away from prying/crying eyes!) is that they have none of the modern restrictions on them. We used to fly ours out to way over the available display distance on the remote. From timings, they seemed to have a stock range of at least 1200-1300metres before loss of control signal RTH. Also the standard XT30 battery connector allowed normal batteries to be strapped under them. The motors/ESCs off of a crashed Bugs2 have been reused in a twin motor 840mm foam chuck glider conversion that our Old Mate runs on 3s. Goes a treat! Same for a dismantled Bugs3 innards.

Good to know! I crashed mine once and cracked original frame. I replaced the frame and saved the old one. I'll try super gluing the old one for a spare.

Dried piece of ethanol corn crap in there somewhere I bet. You knocked it loose. Drain the carb and fuel tank if it's gonna sit a long time or use ethanol free gas.
